ABOUT THE VENUE
Don Donnelly’s D-spur Ranch and Stables is located in the foothills of the legendary Superstition Mountains on 5,800 acres of pristine Sonoran desert in Gold Canyon, Arizona. On your adventures through the Sonoran desert, you may see the beautiful and exciting local wildlife such as coyotes, javelina, mule deer and longhorn cattle (as this is a working longhorn cattle ranch). All surrounded by the glory of the majestic Superstition mountains. Come join in the fun and have a real “Western” kinda weekend!
Donnelly D-Spur Ranch will surround you with that real western atmosphere for our 2 day weekend! With 3 events to choose from for a fun filled weekend!
Saturday Ranch Obstacles- #1 In Hand in the morning and #2 Mounted course in the afternoon.
Sunday TC Trail Challenge! 5 mile trail with obstacles along the way. Plenty of room to camp and enjoy the hospitality of a real working western ranch. Run by Shelly Donnelly and her crew! Meals available too, reserve them online!
PLEASE NOTE: At this ride, most of the obstacles will be near camp/ the ranch. We are not allowed to put them out far on the trail.
The trails have good footing for the ride, all in the mountain foothills with great views, surrounded by the serene beauty of the Superstition mountains.
Shelly and her crew have some awesome meals planned for us at very reasonable prices!!

Awards and Shout Outs; Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin’ (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer! Awards after event #2 on Saturday and after the TC (#3) on Sunday.
ETS Lifetime Awards FOR BOTH EQUINE AND RIDER
EQUINE CARROT CLUB – Equine earn points; Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine Placement Points accumulate no matter who rides the equine.
STAR RIDER CLUB – RIDERS earn points; You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. This kilt pin will come with an Equine Trail Sports iron-on patch to attach the kilt pin. Rider Placement Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden.
Stalls are limited. $10 night (Reserve EARLY- they will fill fast)

Also, a $10 per day ranch/horse Fee per horse, paid at the event.
Let us know if you are camping and staying for dinner or bringing a guest (or two or three!) All reservations, plus part of the ride proceeds will go to Shelley Donnelly. Arrive anytime Friday afternoon or Saturday morning before 9 am for the events on Saturday!
