We are devoted equestrians who love to ride and explore new trails. We assist with trail maintenance and improvement projects, keeping trails clear for all user groups. American Paso Fino Horse Association
The mission of the American Paso Fino Horse Association is to protect and maintain the integrity of the original American Paso Fino Pleasure Horse Association, the registry and natural attributes of the Paso Fino Horse, to promote and further the recognition of the versatility of the American Paso Fino Horse, to recognize and participate in activities desirable to the furtherance of the breed, the registry and its members.
American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC)
Endurance riding is for all ages and abilities, consists of challenging events, is educational and fun, a great family sport, welcomes beginners. AERC is an advocate for trails. If you and your horse are ready for the trail and the challenge, we invite you to join AERC!
North American Western Dressage (NAWD)
NAWD offers recognition and education for riders from all backgrounds as we help equestrians enhance their performance, relationship, and the long-term soundness of their horse. NAWD is providing riders the opportunity to compete and gain feedback from the comfort of their own backyard using the power of video. Video gives our judges the power to take unlimited time to view your ride your ride and plenty of time to consider what they are seeing. Riders from around the world are enjoying the benefits of this progressive training system at stables everywhere and from the comfort of their own backyard.
The American Stock Horse Association was chartered as a non-profit organization in 2008. The Association is dedicated to enhancing the pleasure of owning and riding horses through creating better horses and horsemen. A regular ASHA Event is considered to be a clinic and a competition. The recommended schedule is to have a clinic one day and a competition the following day.
Top Trail is the cutting edge GPS based online mileage program for the trail horse and rider. You are eligible to participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual mileage challenges when you record your trail riding activity with your GPS and upload it to your account. Top Trail allows you to see where you rank, create a trail record for you and your horse(s), and earn awards for trail riding!
Working Equitation United (WE United)
The discipline of Working Equitation was created to celebrate the partnership between horse and rider, with a focus on classical horsemanship and use of the horse for ranch work. The aim of the sport is to preserve and perpetuate each country’s type of equitation, as well as the various working equestrian traditions and the tack and attire which each nation brings to the sport.
Equine Trail Sports (ETS)
Enjoy the variety of Trail Challenges, Obstacle Courses, and Recreation Rides in a fun and family friendly environment. Enjoy access to private ranch lands and beautiful public parks while bonding with your horse. Create friendships with best friends you have yet to meet. Events are open to all breeds of horses, donkeys and mules.
North American Saddle Mule Association (NASMA)
Serving the Long Ear Lovers with Mule and Donkey Registrations, Shows, a strong emphasis on youth participation and VTP Awards hours on the trails. Amateur Membership includes Novice and Silver Divisions! Competition Points are kept on NASMA members’ mules and donkeys which helps to determine sires and dams that when crossed are producing top-quality performance mules and donkeys. This is the family organization you’ve been looking for!
Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA)
Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association® is the Fastest Growing Equestrian Sport in the Nation. Mounted contestants compete in this fast action timed event using two .45 caliber single action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of specially prepared blank ammunition. The Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association “C.M.S.A.” has a variety of levels of competition for everyone, ranging from novice levels to the seasoned professional.
International Mountain Trail Challenge Association (IMTC)
Mountain Trail Challenge is an international equestrian “extreme sport” which is fun and exciting to watch and participate in. This discipline is open to horses and riders of all skill levels. You will see riders in English and Western saddles smiling and having a great time as they participate at each challenge. Mountain Trail Challenge is a unique way to help build a strong partnership between a horse and its rider. You can plainly see this relationship as horse and rider navigate obstacles safely, with a confident and bold attitude.
Friends of Sound Horses, Inc.
Whether you are seeking information on gaited horses, enjoying your horse or interested in competing, Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH) offers it all when your passion is for the gaited horse. FOSH is a membership organization that welcomes participation by owners of all gaited horses to join and support the gaited horse in all equine pleasures and disciplines. With a robust set of resources for the gaited horse enthusiast whose needs are often not addressed in mainstream media or clubs, going for a FOSH membership provides many rewards.
Mounted Archery Association of the Americas (MA3)
MA3 offers the chance to be a part of a community, building friendships and creating opportunities for growth as a person and an athlete. This exciting sport allows riders to experience what it is like to navigate a horse, reinless, through the course while shooting arrow after arrow. Get your brave on! National Walking Horse Association (NWHA)
The National Walking Horse Association, an advocate against abusive and inhumane treatment of the Walking Horse and other gaited breeds, promotes the general welfare and natural abilities of the Walking horse through a variety of events and programs. Founded in 1998, a 501(c)(3), the NWHA offers a variety of programs for gaited horse enthusiasts including two very active Trail Programs.
North American Trail Ride Conference (NATRC)
We provide long distance competitive trail rides and clinics for riders of all equine breeds and from all disciplines. We promote safety, sportsmanship, education and trail horse advocacy through qualified evaluation of horse and rider by veterinary and horsemanship judges, in a fun, responsible family environment. 2017 FREE Membership for new members!

Horsemen of Arkansas is an affiliate club of American Horsemen Challenge Association. Our mission is to provide a competitive environment using a variety of trail obstacles, with safety and horsemanship of utmost importance. The highest level of integrity and sportsmanship will be adhered to at all times. As a result, riders will develop their skills to become more effective horsemen.
NASMA’s Versatility Trail Program (VTP) is designed to reward the hours you spend in the saddle or driving your mule. This program is devised for those individuals who promote the mule to the public as the best and most reliable of trail animals.
NASMA believes the recreational ability of riding or driving the Saddle Mule on the trail is just as important as competitions, when educating the public about the benefits of Saddle Mule ownership. Whether you are involved in recreational, endurance, or competitive trail activities, NASMA would like to recognize your pastime with an awards program to acknowledge your contribution in bringing the Saddle Mule to the forefront as the Equine of Choice in the 21st Century.
